Today, 18th June 2021, The protocol signing ceremony of the Erasmus+ KA2 project MIRA, which will be implemented in the framework of strategic partnerships for creativity, which will be carried out in the partnership of England, Portugal, and Romania with Izmir Governor of Economics University, Aegean Business Women Association, Our Governor Mr. Yavuz It was carried out under the chairmanship of Selim Köşger.
Aim: The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of low-skilled, low-qualified women with fewer opportunities in enhancing their employability through art and creativity by supporting and guiding them as they enter the labor markets maize.
MIRA Online Kick-off Meeting 30th June 2021
The Online Kick-off Meeting of the Mira-Creative Women in Labor Market Project which is coordinated by Izmir Governorship and funded by European Commission within the scope of Erasmus+ KA2 Partnership for Creativity is held today. Our project coordinator “Governor’s Office of EU and Foreign Relations”, met with Ambassador Naciye Gökçen Kaya about the activities organized within the scope of ErasmusDays regarding the “Empower4Employment” and “Creative Women in Labor Market” Erasmus+ Projects and the “Eurodesk Contact Point” activities that they coordinate.

The kick-off meeting of the Mira project was held in Miercurea-Ciuc, Romania. Unfortunately due to the covid pandemic travel restrictions, many of the partners were not able to attend in person. However, not to be dismayed they attended some of the meeting agendas through zoom. We would like to thank to host organization, ADI Harghita, for their hospitality and to all partners for their amazing performance, contribution, and collaboration.

The Steering Committee Meeting of the Creative Women in Labor Market Project is held:
The project is carried out under the coordination of Izmir Governorship and with 6 partner institutions from 4 countries (Portugal, Romania, Turkey, and United Kingdom). As of December, the first quarter of the project has been completed. At the meeting, the evaluation of the first quarter and the works planned to be completed in the next period were discussed.
We also evaluated the year passed, 2021, in the meeting. In 2021, we had the pleasure of meeting in person, and sometimes we only got to meet through the screens. Even though these are challenging times, we have shown cohesion, commitment, and strength as a team and have created great project progress and results together as a team!

January 2022
Creative Women in Labor Market Project Evaluation Process Meeting is held!
The first quarter of the project which was carried out under the coordination of Izmir Governorship was evaluated with the Project Director, Fatma Susam Özsayın, and Zelma Szekely, the leader of the work package.
After the fruitful meeting, we would like to thank the leader organization, ADI Harghita, for the evaluation process for their dedicated work.

March/April 2022
The project team had a fruitful meeting season and discussed the interim report that will be submitted next month by the project coordinator. The team also discussed the current status of IOs and PM activities.

Within the scope of #ErasmusDays2022, (October 13.14.15th) a round meeting with businesswomen members of the Karşıyaka Business Women Association is organized to disseminate the Mira Project to a wide network of target groups. Participants met at the breakfast to discuss the agenda. Deputy Governor of Izmir Governorship, Hulusi Doğan, presided over the meeting. Mira Project’s Intellectual Outputs and Erasmus+ Program were presented during the meeting.

The project s being carried on under the coordination of our Bureau and within the partnership structure of the United Kingdom Portugal, Romania, and two more organizations from Turkiye (Izmir University of Economics Agean Business Women Association). The main agenda of the meeting was the evaluation of the works related to the past period, the planning of the training program to be held in Türkiye in January 2023, and the project’s intellectual outputs, which representatives from all partners fully attended. Kingston Wadokai would like to thank our delightful partners for their contributions, participation, and preliminary preparations for the meeting that enabled the meeting to run very productive and fruitful

The 1st LTT Meeting of MIRA-Creative Women in Labor Market Project was held on 23-27 January 2023 in İzmir, Türkiye. The project is being carried on under the coordination of İzmir Governorship and within the partnership structure of the United Kingdom Portugal, Romania, and two more organizations from Turkiye (the Izmir University of Economics Agean Business Women Association). The main agenda of the meeting was to bring together leaders and participants for training, and evaluation of the works related to the planning of the training program and the intellectual outputs of the project, which representatives from all partners fully attended. We would like to thank our delightful partners for their contributions, participation, and preliminary preparations for the meeting that enabled the meeting to run very productive and fruitful.
